Scope one process
One call about one process: what it contains, what can go and what a build would cost. A scope and fixed price, or a refusal with the reason.
One call, about one process: the one that costs your team the most time. You leave with a scope and a fixed price, or with a refusal and the reason for it.
What the exchange looks like
The call goes through the process as your team actually runs it, not as the procedure describes it. The one preparation that helps: notice, during one ordinary day, what gets typed twice. That observation is worth more than any document.
After the call, a written summary arrives as one page: what was understood, what a diagnosis would cover, and its price, A$2,600, excluding local taxes, deducted from the build if one goes ahead. If the process is not worth a build, the summary says so, in writing, with the reason. The summary is written to be forwarded, because the decision rarely belongs to one person.
Scope one process. Come with the process that costs the most time; leave with a scope and a price.
